AUCKLAND, New Zealand— The Oceania Renewable Power Summit is set to return on 16–17 September 2025, bringing together the region’s leading voices in clean energy to address the theme: “Mastering Renewable Generation, Deployment, and Integration.”
Now in its second year, the two-day conference and exhibition has fast become a key platform for driving renewable energy progress across the Oceania region. The summit will once again be held in Auckland, New Zealand, and will convene stakeholders from both government and industry to share insights, explore opportunities and foster new partnerships.
First launched in September 2024, the inaugural event drew around 200 delegates from 118 organisations, including senior leaders, regulators, service providers and technology developers from across New Zealand, Australia, Fiji, Cook Islands, Samoa, Niue, Singapore, Tonga, Indonesia, Malaysia, Nauru and Vanuatu.
Key topics at the 2025 summit will include construction and supply chain management, market integration, project financing and asset performance—core pillars considered essential to scaling renewable energy deployment in the Pacific.
A welcome function on the eve of the summit will again bring together key government and business representatives, including the Mayor of Auckland, Members of Parliament and the Head of the Chamber of Commerce.
Dedicated Focus on the Pacific
A new highlight of the 2025 programme is the launch of a second stream on Day Two, focused exclusively on the Pacific. This stream will spotlight renewable energy challenges and opportunities unique to island nations, where energy resilience, access and climate adaptation are top priorities.
The Fiji Trade Commission Australia & New Zealand (FTCNZ) has renewed its role as a Supporting Partner for the summit, reinforcing its commitment to regional cooperation in renewable energy development. The Commission is actively promoting the event through its platforms and networks to encourage broad Pacific participation.
